Impractical Jokers: The Movie

We are in unprecedented times. We are dealing with the Coronavirus. We are under quarantine and stay at home orders. Many people lost their jobs. It’s unreal what we are dealing with as a society. To ease, I’ve been making time to go for walks each day. I am also focused on my health and fitness! What about comedy? We could all use some laughs with Impractical Jokers: The Movie!

I love watching the Impractical Jokers. They definitely make me laugh with their antics. I love that they are lifelong friends! It’s very inspiring. I have a few friends that I have never met, but I consider them to be really great friends.

Our school district first cancelled school the second week of March! That’s right! My son has been out of school since the second week of March! I do appreciate the time we’ve been spending together. Since we are stuck at home, we’ve been making our favorite treats! Get ready for our quarantine Peanut Butter Cookies!

Since we’ve been out of school for weeks now, I’ve been keeping us busy with cleaning here and there, watching videos, playing games, learning activities, and worksheets. In other words, we are always learning here at home! Even though my son likes routine, I get creative and try to change it up. We watch story time, watch animals at the zoo on webcams, etc.

My son and I love ice cream! I rarely buy it because he will eat it throughout the day (no matter what time it is)! We both love Mint Chocolate Chip too! With that, we made a delicious dessert in the Instant Pot! Get ready for our Instant Pot Mint Chip Cheesecake!

Our Mint Chip Cheesecake uses Mint Oreo Cookies for the crust! Yum! It was very difficult to keep enough cookies around to make our crust! Be sure to buy extra cookies if you love cookies like we do!

You heard it! Coronavirus causes school district to cancel school for a week! So, that happened last weekend. We received an email that our school district was going to cancel school and any activities for the entire week!

It was a bit shocking when our school district decided to cancel school, any events, and student activities for the week. Not only that, they decided to cancel our Spring Break (it was scheduled for the first week of April). They said this week was considered our Spring Break instead!

A New Pillow For Better Sleep

As a single mom, I feel overwhelmed and even stressed with everything I have going on. Not only am I a single parent but I am also a full time college student! It’s been months that I find myself waking up in the middle of the night or early in the morning. It never fails. I wake up from being too hot or for no reason. I think it’s mainly due to stress! I’m working on it. I found a new pillow for better sleep!
