Welcome to mamahearted
Motherhood
I am a single mom doing everything on my own. I don’t have help caring and raising my son, nor do I have financial help. My life revolves around us and I love it!
When I became a single mom, I became a warrior and fought our way through obstacles. I feel stronger, happier, and amazing. Our life is far from perfect and there have been challenges, but we get through them.
I love being a mom. I’m a single mom trying to navigate our overwhelming and imperfect world.
Divergent motherhood
When my son was diagnosed with Autism, my whole perspective changed. I became his voice and his advocate.
I am a special needs mom to a teen with Autism. I’ve learned to slow down and enjoy our divergent lifestyle from the conventional parenting styles. It works for us, makes us unique and special.
I’m the type who wants to help everyone and tend to overextend myself. After a few hiccups, I’ve realized I need to focus on my son. I am making time to volunteer in his classroom and chaperone his field trips.
Our life hasn’t been perfect, but we are making the best of what we can.
The idea behind mamahearted:
There is kind hearted, warm hearted, and now mamahearted!
Let’s start a trend….
We are ❝ mamahearted ❞
As any mama knows, we take on more than we can handle because we can. We are capable of so much. We can multitask, all while caring for our family and household!
This mama wants to encourage and celebrate the cracks in life. As mamas, we need to realize we are not perfect, instead we should stop to appreciate what we have. Value the raw, chipped, aged by time and weather beauty. Let’s accept imperfections, whether our own or in our home! We embrace the flaws.
I hope to share the power of accepting life’s imperfections. Follow me on a journey of motherhood in the form of a wabi sabi lifestyle: I hope to share tips, recipes, health, wellness, fitness, mom hacks, and more.
