Have you ever lost or misplaced your phone? I never thought I would lose my cell phone but I did! As you can imagine, I was thinking “Dude, where’s my phone?”
I need a leash for my phone.
I have a routine. As soon as I get home, I usually put everything away, such as my purse and any bags I am carrying. If stopped at the store, I like to put everything away and then put the tote bag away.
Like clockwork, I put everything away. I made a sandwich and sat down to eat and went to reach for my phone and it wasn’t there. I looked in pockets, emptied the laundry basket, checked my purse and every pocket, checked drawers, etc.
I could not find my phone.
Dude, Where’s My Phone?
I started freaking out.
I lost my phone.
Where is could my phone be?
Everything is on that cell phone.
Did I leave it in the Uber car?
I tried doing the Google “find my phone” and I couldn’t hear my phone ringing, which meant it wasn’t in my home.
Re-trace my steps
I decided to re-trace my steps. My first stop was the dumpster. I was prepared to climb in if needed!
Next, I walked to the mailboxes and nothing.
Then I went to the gate and tried looking at the entrance. I thought I saw something on the ground from afar. I decided to get a closer look!
Lo and behold, my phone was right where the Uber driver dropped me off. I don’t know how my phone dropped to the ground but I am so thankful I found it.
I am so thankful my phone has a protective phone case! My screen wasn’t damaged, nor was the phone case itself! No scratches and no damage! There is are small scratches on my phone case, but it’s barely noticeable and I do have several other phone cases that I adore!
I was really freaking out about not being able to find my phone. My entire life is on my phone. My calendar isn’t sync’d to my Google account either. My contacts, I’m not too worried about. I think I have some saved on my Google account.
How is your January going?
I am seriously looking at getting a leash for my phone. Losing my phone really scared me.
Once everything settles down a bit and I am feeling better, I plan on volunteering in my son’s class again!
