Dried Roses Bath Bombs
Supplies Needed:

- 1 cup baking soda
- 1/2 cup citric acid (It’s better to buy in bulk on Amazon)
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup solid coconut oil
- Rose essential oil (Find it on Amazon)
- Pink mica powder (Find it on Amazon)
- Dried roses (Find it on Amazon)
- Spray bottle of rubbing alcohol
- 1 large mixing bowl
- Bath Bombs molds (Find it on Amazon)
Directions:

Steps 1-4: Add dry ingredients to a large bowl.

Sift or whisk dry ingredients.

Steps 5-7: Add mica powder.

Add essential oil.

Add about 1/8 of a cup of the dried roses. I put my roses in the food processor to make them less chunky. This varies, depending on the product you buy, so use your discretion/judgement on this.

Step 8: Whisk everything together. You will know when the mixture is perfect when it feels like wet sand and you can press the mixture together in your hands and it stays together. **Please note** You may need to use your spray bottle of rubbing alcohol to spritz your mixture if it gets too dry as you are adding it to your mold. Give a few spritzes and mix together until it has that wet sand feel again.

Steps 9-12: Add a sprinkle of roses to one mold and add the bath bomb mixture until it is overflowing.

Add the mixture to the other mold and press the two sides together, using a twisting and grinding motion.

Gently tap the top of each mold and carefully “pop” the bomb from mold. Spread out onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Allow to dry until they are hard. This took two days for me. As climates are different, there may be a variation on the time it takes for yours to dry completely. The goal is for them not to fall apart when you pick them up!

Store in an airtight container until ready to use.
